How will a hypnotherapy session work ?

The hypnotherapist works by using their voice to guide you into a relaxed state. In this state of light trance your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions that can help to change unwanted and often negative beliefs. 


In my hypnotherapy sessions, I work intuitively in a caring and compassionate way using hypnosis techniques including gentle relaxation and guided visualisation, to help you relax into a state of inner focus. 


This could be likened to what we experience  from day to day like reading a book or driving somewhere and suddenly being surprised that you have arrived at your destination because you were so focussed. 


From this focussed place we can work together to foster positive change and empowerment  by transforming these unwanted beliefs and or habits into positive goals and outcomes

 

What might a hypnotherapy session feel like ?

In a typical session you will recline in a chair or lie down in a comfortable position and close your eyes. I will help you to relax using my voice and I will guide you through the session. You may still be aware of noises in the room but they will fade as you become more focussed. You may be aware of thoughts occurring in your conscious mind  but these will slow down as you become more relaxed.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

I generally recommended  3-6 sessions with the exception of hypnotherapy for smoking/vaping cessation which is usually 1 session. 


Initial Hypnotherapy Session

Before we commit to working together I will arrange a 20 minute discovery call with you either as an video meeting WhatsApp or by phone call. This is a great opportunity for me to answer any questions you might have about the therapies I offer.

In your first session we can talk about your expectations and goals why you are seeking hypnotherapy and any worries you might have about the therapy. I will talk with you about how the sessions will work and you will have the opportunity to experience a short hypnosis relaxation.

Is it confidential ?

Yes absolutely, I work to a code of ethics (Past Life Regression Academy) and to professional standards and I am also registered under the Data Protection Act (See Privacy Policy for details). 


Everything that is said within a hypnotherapy session is completely confidential and will not be shared unless in exceptional circumstances where it is suspected that a client is at serious risk of harm to themselves or another.
